Let me introduce you to an idea that has blossomed from a single group of a few to an entire site of writers. Together with Dayna Hart as Co-Founder, we launched ....
This group was created a little more than six months after my first book was published. I discovered it was a very hard market to get noticed in. I needed a way to be heard. I searched over many groups, and spent several months looking for a way to broaden my world. It wasn't easy. What we created is a site for the authors and readers to connect, who may have any range of tastes from inspirational to romantic element to suspense to... Well, you get the idea. The difference with this group is that we promote the non-erotic writer. Everything romance, but also romantic element and women's fiction.
It's difficult to be noticed when someone has an inspirational story in a very strong "sex for sale" market. Sweeter Romantic Notions (SRN) built a platform for these writers and their readers to find them more easily, and be comfortable in their successes. We encourage each other on this journey of insanity, also known as a writing career.
The updated site officially opened on July 23. There are book pages, author pages, newsletter information, just all kinds of information geared for this under-the-radar market. Together with our totally awesome promotions department queen, Adelle Laudan, we ensure these writers have a voice, and that their readers can find them to learn about their works.
