Conference 2007

Dallas, Texas. RWA. My first conference! And the memories to go with it. Here's a few pictures of some of the fun that was had by all. There's plenty more, but some pictures just shouldn't be on the internet. Trust me on that one. 

My first author photo with Vicki Lewis-Thompson! Okay, so I'm a huge fan of the Nerd books, and there really isn't a nicer lady to email with those silly beginner questions! She was the author I turned to and gave me the first taste of the kind of camaraderie there is amongst Romance Writers. She is the best!

But Pole really liked Cassidy Kent of the Divas... Our Tech goddess, who totally rules!

 

Gena Showalter and me... I can't tell you how many books I have of hers... Well, I could, but we'd be here a while.

And what conference would be complete without at least one party? The Diva Dinner was a total blast! Wild and full of laughter, it was one of the best nights there. Okay, it was the best night there! 

           

And one of the best parts of RWA... All the free books! No kidding. They're magnetized. They leap out at you and cling, like Velcro! It's amazing. 

2008 is being held in San Francisco. I have one year to get the funds. Anyone need a liver? JK! See you next year!!!
